Will Russia Play A Role Again In This Election, Or Will Trump Play Fair?

If you can recall, in the 2016 presidential election, it was revealed that Russia played a major role in harming the campaign of Democratic nominee Hilary Clinton, boosting the candidacy of Donald Trump, and increasing political and social discord in the United States. So the question posed here is, will Donald Trump play fair this time around, or will he call up his old friends in Russia to do the same thing again?

According to an article done by Time in April of 2019, this is all that happened: "Over the course of the election, a wide-ranging group of Russians probed state voter databases for insecurities; hacked the Hillary Clinton campaign, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and the Democratic National Committee; tried to hack the campaign of Sen. Marco Rubio and the Republican National Committee; released politically damaging information on the internet; spread propaganda on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram; staged rallies in Florida and Pennsylvania; set up meetings with members of the Trump campaign and its associates; and floated a business proposition for a skyscraper in Moscow to the Trump Organization."

This all happened because of Trump, because he wanted so desperately to hold a seat he did not deserve. During his campaign, many things were revealed about him, things that would not have gone over well with the American public if it was revealed former President Obama did them, but I digress. Back to the question at hand: Will Trump do it again?

Over the course of his presidency, Trump and the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, were shown in the media to be very good friends. Even before his presidency, the two were allies, so it is likely that he might do this again, but just be more discreet about it, after all, he did get caught for it. I definitely would not put it past him, because his polling numbers are tanking. Whatever it takes, right?
